Politik:Perspektive is the University of Leeds German Department’s student-led journal reviewing society and politics of the German-speaking space.

It offers a balance between personal and factual pieces on German, Austrian and Swiss politics and society. Ultimately, Politik:Perspektive strives to underline what can be learned – in a positive and negative sense – from some of Europe’s most democratic, egalitarian, and rich nation-states through the fusion of critical analysis and lived experience.

The three first volume of the journal is available on Issuu.

Politik:Perspektive is currently transitioning to an online platform; calling upon the knowledge and experience of the generations brought up in a globalised world to bring unique insights to discourse surrounding Europe.
